The purpose of the Turkish Organic Agriculture Law, numbered 5262, adopted on 01.12.2004, is to determine the procedures and principles regarding taking the necessary measures to ensure the development of the production of organic products and inputs in order to provide reliable and quality products to the consumers.
This Law covers the fulfillment of inspection and certification services regarding the execution of organic farming activities, the inspection procedures and principles of the Ministry, and the issues related to authorities, duties and responsibilities.
