Turkish Organic Agriculture Certification
The rules for organic production and control-certification in Turkey are determined within the scope of the Organic Agriculture Law No. 5262 and the Regulation No. 27676 on the Principles and Implementation of Organic Agriculture prepared in accordance with this law (for details, see Standards). This Regulation is valid and mandatory for every stage of domestic production and imported products to be marketed organically in Turkey, from the field to the final consumer sales point. Accordingly, all entrepreneurs operating in the said chain must be certified within the scope of the relevant regulation.
Basak Ekolojik, has been authorized by Turkish Republic of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in accordance with the Organic Agriculture Law No. 5262 and the Regulation on the Principles and Implementation of Organic Agriculture, for the following subjects with the code TR-OT-28:

Organic Animal Production
Processing, Packaging, Labeling, Storage, Transportation and Marketing of Organic Products

Başak Ekolojik, which started its operations in 2012, provides inspection and certification services in organic agriculture in line with the authorization given as a result of the inspection of the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Turkish Accreditation Agency TÜRKAK.
